Shipping & Delivery Policy

How long does it take to receive my order?

Party Supply Shop prides itself on speedy processing and shipping of all orders. We have dedicated picking and packing teams to ensure your order is processed in a timely manner.

We pay particular attention to the 'Special Event Date' specified by you during the checkout process and every effort is made to ensure we meet this request. We will notify you as soon as we can if we are unable to meet this event date. We will use all reasonable efforts to get your party supplies delivered to you within the date set by you.
 
After we receive confirmation of your order with full payment, your order is packed within 1 - 2 business days. All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse and delivered to most Australian cities within 1-3 working days (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns) and Adelaide, Tasmania, Perth and regional areas within 5-7 working days. (Business days are defined as Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays.)
 
For very remote areas like Port Hedland or Karratha and most parts of Northern Territory, the delivery might take up to 10 working days. You can check the estimated time to deliver your package by using the Australia Post "Calculate Postage Tool" (use postcode 4000 as the From Suburb).
 
We will use all reasonable efforts to get your products to you within the estimated delivery time indicated on your Order Confirmation; however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame.
 
 

Our network of Courier Companies

We are using a network of different courier companies to deliver our orders. Party Supply Shop Australia reserves the right to select the method of shipment and the courier company to ensure safe and prompt delivery of your order.
 
We have established a relationship with various courier companies to deliver your orders. We utilize the following couriers:
 
* Australia Post
* Australia Post Express
* Fastway Couriers
* Star Track
* Air Express
* Toll Express
 

We reserve the right to select the method of shipment and the courier company. We will use all reasonable efforts to deliver your products to you within the estimated delivery time indicated by those courier companies. But we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame, as once the parcel has left our warehouse, we have no control over unforeseen events within the postal system or courier company. It is important to record the dispatch email that we send to you so you can follow up in the event of a delay.

Shipping Methods

We offer you 2 different shipping methods:

* Standard shipping from $9.95
* Express shipping or next business day shipping from $13.95 within Australia Post Express Post networks

 

I need my order quickly

If you require your order urgently select the Express Delivery method during checkout or contact us on 07 3076 0087 to get the best advice for your postcode. Please note that not all products are able to be express posted due to their fragility or size. This will be indicated on individual products through the ordering process.

Disclaimer: Next business day delivery only applies for destinations within the Australia Post Express Courier network or Fastway Couriers in the Brisbane metropolitan area. If your order is unusually large and therefore will incur higher than normal freight charges, we reserve the right to contact you to discuss payment of extra shipping charges.

If your delivery address falls outside the next Business Day delivery we will contact you with a quote price for your approval prior to shipping.

Important: Northern Territory is exempt from next business day Express Post delivery as all parts of NT fall outside of the Express Post network. By selecting the Express Delivery method for Northern Territory, ensures that your package goes via airplane instead of truck.

Excessive weight or size of a package

If your order contains excessive weight or is extra large we might occur extra charges from the courier companies. We have the right to contact you with a freight quote for your approval prior to shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

Party Supply Shop can ship your order anywhere in the world. All of our delivery charges need to be quoted individually for international orders.

We recommend that you add your items into the shopping cart as usual. Then start the checkout process and select as Delivery Method "Overseas". We will then contact you via email with the cost for your goods. At that point you can accept the order or cancel it without occurring any charges to your credit card.

For international orders who is responsible for taxes and duties?

Please note that it is your responsibility to pay for any customs duties and taxes that may be incurred in your country. Most countries have a limit on the value of the goods before there are taxes due. This value varies from country to country and it is your responsibility to get your country specific facts, information and regulations prior to placing an order with us. Party Supply Shop Australia will not be responsible for fees/damages associated with non compliance.

 

Lost in transit

Courier companies handle millions of parcels everyday. It is possible that your package can get lost in transit. When we dispatch your order you will receive an email with the courier company website and a tracking number.

In the unlikely event that your package gets lost please contact the courier company directly, email sales@partysupplyshop.com.au or call Party Supply Shop on 07 3076 0087 so we can help you locate it.

Disclaimer: Note that we cannot replace your goods until an investigation has been completed by the courier service used to deliver those goods.

Title, Insurance & Risk

Ownership of the products shall remain with Party Supply Shop, until payment is received in full and the package has left our warehouse. The risk in the products purchased will, unless otherwise agreed, pass to you upon pickup of a courier company to deliver the party items to you. Party Supply Shop does not accept responsibility for any damages, losses or liability for whatever reason arising from:

1. Late delivery of an order;
2. Damage of the package during transfer.
